ESTHETICS

THE STUDY OF SKIN

Esthetics is rooted in the branch of philosophy that is directly related to the relationship between the senses and matters of beauty, art, and taste. However, in the beauty industry, esthetics refers directly to the health and beautification of the skin.

At Sami Halaseh Institute, the esthetics program consists of instruction in skin care, makeup, and hair removal. It is designed to develop the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary for success in the field.
